Me: Hey God. God: Hello, my love.  Me: I'm falling apart. Can you put me back together? God: I would rather not.  Me: 🤔 God: Because you are not a puzzle.   Me: What about all of the pieces of my life that are falling down onto the ground?   God: Let them stay there for a while. They fell off for a reason. Take some time and decide if you need any of those pieces back.   Me: You don't understand! I'm breaking down!    God: No - you don't understand. You are breaking through. What you are feeling is just growing pains. You are shedding the things and the people in your life that are holding you back. You are not falling apart. You are falling into place. Relax. Take some deep breaths and allow those things you don't need anymore to fall off of you. Quit holding onto the pieces that don't fit you anymore. Let them fall off.  Let them go.  Me: Once I start doing that, what will be left of me?   God: Only the very...

What is Pegasus?

Image
Pegasus is a software (spyware/program)  produced by the Israeli surveillance firm, NSO Group Technologies, a technology cybersecurity firm . Pegasus sends a malware link to the target user and once the user clicks on it, the code that allows the surveillance is installed on the person’s phone.  According to Citizen’s Lab, once Pegasus is installed and the phone is exploited, the attacker has complete access to the target user’s phone. It then begins contacting the operator’s command and control (C&C) servers to receive and execute operators’ commands and send back the target’s private data, including passwords, contact lists, calendar events, text messages, and live voice calls from popular mobile messaging apps. The operator can even turn on the phone’s camera and microphone to capture activity in the phone’s vicinity.  The use of Pegasus’s software to spy, first emerged in 2016, when Ahmed Mansoor, a human rights activist in the UAE, was targeted with an SMS link o...

In January 2010, India was invited to attend the “London Conference” on Afghanistan but left out of the room during a crucial meeting that deci...

Sustainable Sugarcane Industry

Image
Sugarcane cultivation in India has expanded in the last few decades.  Factors that helped  India become the second-largest producer of sugar worldwide are the  policies that incentivize production-    A  minimum price Guaranteed sales of sugarcane   Public distribution of sugar  Factors  are paralysing the entire sugar sector.   rainfall deficit,  depleting groundwater table,  delayed payment to cane farmers,  lower net income (for the farmer) compared to other crops,  labour shortage and increasing cost of labour, followed by Covid-19 pandemic  As sugarcane is a cash crop, rectifying issues that grapple the sugarcane industry remains critical for Indian agriculture and doubling farmer’s income. Associated Challenges With Sugarcane Industry 1.Pricing Controls: In order to plug the demand-supply mismatch, the union & state governments have been controlling sugar prices through various policy intervention...
